ACC Athletics Dinner January 19
The Alvin Community College Baseball and Softball teams will host the annual Athletics Dinner and Auction fundraiser on Saturday, January 19 at the ACC Gym.
Proceeds from the dinner and auction will go towards scholarships, facility improvements and upgrades for player equipment.
“The Lady Dolphin softball team is looking forward to a great night. They are working hard on bringing in some great baskets and live auction items to help raise money for their upcoming spring season,” said Jerri Torres-Farmer, first-year head coach for the Softball team. “We appreciate all the support that our community provides us. “
This is the 13th year for the event and it provides vital support for the ACC athletic programs, said Jason Schreiber, Baseball head coach.
The Athletic Dinner and Auction is always a fun night, we will have plenty of unique sports memorabilia, golf packages, tickets to sporting events, rodeo tickets in our auctions,” he said. “There will be something for everyone.”
The silent and live auctions will include sports memorabilia from sports legends, tickets to area pro sports teams, gift baskets and more.
Tickets are $25 each or $350 to sponsor a table of eight and can be purchased online at the ACC Marketplace at www.alvincollege.edu
. Adult beverages will be available.
Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. with dinner served at 6:30 p.m. The event is sponsored by the ACC Foundation.
Donations are still being accepted for the live and silent auctions.
